Major roadwork scheduled Friday, April 26 through Thursday, May 2

The following scheduled roadwork has been verified at the time of release. Please keep in mind work is weather permitting and subject to change. Del Norte County 

  • U.S. 101 (8.3/8.6) – Bridge work near Hunter Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C101KB
  • U.S. 101 (35.8/36.5) – Construction at the Dr. Fine Bridge near Smith River will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C101WA
  • U.S. 199 (19.9/31.1) – Emergency work from the Gasquet area to the Collier Tunnel Rest Area will continue. One-way traffic is scheduled weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 30-minute delays. LC#C199HA

Humboldt County

  • Route 36 (1.7) – Utility work at River Bar Road will occur on Wednesday, May 1. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P36BA
  • Route 36 (11/11.5) – Bridge work from Pamplin Grove to Redwood House Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C36UA
  • Route 36 (17.9) – Utility work at Van Duzen River Bridge will occur on Wednesday, May 1. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P36BA
  • Route 36 (25.3/25.4) – Bridge work at Little Larabee Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C36UA 
  • Route 36 (37.2/37.4) – Emergency work near Burr Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C36DA
  • Route 96 (27/27.6) – Construction work near Bluff Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C96LA 
  • Route 96 (29.9) – Bridge work at Slate Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C96KA
  • U.S. 101 (34/34.6) – Culvert work north of Weott will occur on Friday, April 26. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C101EA
  • U.S. 101 (64.2/65.9) – Culvert work from the Loleta Drive Overcrossing 4-165 to the Singley Road Separation 4-110 will conclude on Friday, April 26. A southbound lane closure will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101VB
  • U.S. 101 (78.3/79.4) – Road work in Eureka from I Street to V Street will continue. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101HD
  • U.S. 101 (88.3) – Work at the 299 interchange in Arcata will continue. The northbound onramp to Route 299 will be fully closed. Motorists should use an alternative route. LC#C101KD
  • Route 169 (31.1/33.4) - Permit work near Martins Ferry will continue. One-way traffic control is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Travelers should expect 10-minute delays. #P169AA
  • Route 254 (3.2/4.3) – Bridge construction near Fish Creek Road will continue. A full closure will be in effect. Motorists should use an alternate route. LC#C254CA
  • Route 254 (4.3/4.8) – Road work north of Fish Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C254DA
  • Route 254 (18.6/20.6) – Emergency work will continue in Weott. A full closure is in effect. Motorists should use an alternate route. LC#T254AA
  • Route 299 (0/5.8) – Work from Arcata to Blue Lake will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C299BA/HA 
  • Route 299 (5.3/5.5) – Electrical work near Blue Lake will continue. Both the eastbound offramp Exit 5 to Blue Lake and the eastbound onramp from Glendale Avenue are scheduled to be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should use an alternate route. LC#C299HA
  • Route 299 (11/11.4) – Construction east of Blue Lake near North Fork Mad River Bridge 4-194 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C299FA
  • Route 299 (22.3/22.4) – Construction west of the Berry Summit Vista Point at the Redwood Creek Bridge 4-42 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C299BA
  • Route 299 (30/32) - Permit work near Cedar Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
  • Route 299 (35.6/37.8) - Permit work near the Trinity County line near South Fork Trinity River Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#P299BA

Lake County 

  • Route 20 (1.1/2.4) – Construction work from Blue Lakes Road to Irvine Avenue will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#P20KA
  • Route 29 (11.5/13) – Landscape work near Spruce Grove Road South will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#M29AA
  • Route 29 (20.7) – Utility work in Lower Lake at Marsh View Way will occur on Friday, April 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P29BA
  • Route 29 (20.7-21.6) – Electrical work will occur in Lower Lake from Marsh View Way to Seigler Canyon Road on Wednesday, May 1. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P29CA
  • Route 53 (.2/.6) – Tree work in Lower Lake from Kugelman Street to Anderson Ranch Parkway will occur on Monday, April 29. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC# P53CA

Mendocino County 

  • Route 1 (1.2/1.3) – Road work in Gualala from Sedalia Drive to Pacific Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1AB
  • Route 1 (75.4/76.1) – Emergency work south of Westport from the Blues Beach Trailhead to the Overlook will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 30-minute delays. LC#C1TA
  • Route 1 (87.8/103.2) – Paving work in Rockport north of Rockport Street to Redwood Forest Foundation Road will begin on Monday, April 29. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1QA
  • Route 1 (104.9/105.5) – Emergency work in Leggett from Jct Route 271 to the South Fork Eel River Bridge 10-149 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1UA
  • Route 20 (32.8) – Bridge work in Willits at the Broaddus Creek Bridge 10-54 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C20HA
  • Route 20 (33.9/38) – Utility work east of Calpella from Road 144 to Potter Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C20OA
  • Route 20 (37.9) – Bridge work east of Calpella at the Cold Creek Bridge 10-40 will continue. A full on ramp closure will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should choose an alternate route. LC#C20HA
  • U.S. 101 (5.9) – Bridge work at the Pieta Creek Bridge 10-133 will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101WD
  • U.S. 101 (9.8/10) – Road work in Hopland near La Franchi Road will conclude on Friday, April 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C101DC
  • U.S. 101 (10.6) – Bridge work in Hopland at the Feliz Creek Bridge 10-3 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C101WD
  • U.S. 101 (22.1) – Bridge work at the South Ukiah Overhead Bridge 10-187 will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and motorists should expect minor delays. LC#C101WD
  • U.S. 101 (31.8) – Bridge work at the Forsythe Creek Bridge 10-269 will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and motorists should expect minor delays. LC#C101WD
  • U.S. 101 (33.7/43.2) – Road work south of Willits from Route 20 to Uva Drive in Redwood Valley will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#M101QD
  • U.S. 101 (59.9/63.4) – Road work at the Long Valley Creek Bridge continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect minor delays. LC#C101SB
  • U.S. 101 (85.5/88.6) – Emergency work south of Leggett near Wilson Creek continues. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect minor delays. LC#T101GA
  • Route 128 (47/47.3) – Utility work east Pomo Tierra Ranch Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C128CA
  • Route 162 (11/12.6) – Road work south of Dos Rios near the Rodeo Creek Bridge 10-237 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C162IA
  • Route 253 (1.7/2.5) – Road work near Boonville at Bald Hills Ranch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C253DA
  • Route 253 (14.2/15) – Electrical work at Robinson Creek Road will occur on Thursday, May 2. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C253AA
  • Route 271 (2) – Emergency work south of Leggett near Big Bend Lodge Road will continue. A full closure will be in effect and motorists should use an alternate route. LC#T271BA
