One of the key requirements of a successful freeway project is developing an effective partnership with the contractor. That’s something RE Hussein Saad and his team excel at. They — and contractor Sully-Miller — recently picked up TWO partnering awards for the pavement reconstruction project on the Long Beach Freeway (I-710) from the Century Freeway (I-105) to Firestone Boulevard.

The State Excellence in Partnering Award Gold Medal was presented in Sacramento on May 9, followed shortly thereafter by the International Partnering Institute Award, presented in San Francisco on May 17.
