SR-56 Ramps To Southbound I-15 Closed For Paving This Saturday
SAN DIEGO – Restrooms and R.V. dump stations will be temporarily closed starting Jan. 9 at 8 a.m. at both northbound and southbound Aliso Creek rest stops on Interstate 5 (I-5), according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). The rest stops are scheduled to reopen either Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 5 p.m. or Thursday morning.
The rest stops will remain closed overnight. The closures will allow crews to make repairs to the sewer pump stations.
Portable toilets and sink units will be provided during the course of the work, and an American Disability Act-compliant unit will be available at each rest area. There will not be any accessibility to R.V. dump stations.
