Delays Expected During Closure of Briarwood Off-Ramp from SR-54
SAN DIEGO –Motorists who normally use the Briarwood Road off-ramp from westbound State Route 54 can expect minor delays for the next two weeks. Crews will close the off-ramp beginning Friday night at 9 to complete work on the far right lane of SR-54, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
Motorists will be detoured via Paradise Valley Road/Jamacha Boulevard and Woodman Street. Message Signs are in place to let motorists know in advance of the closure.
The work will complete construction on the project known as the “Gap and Connector” linking SR-54 to the new SR-125 South Bay Expressway toll road.# # # #
