MEDIA ADVISORY - Trashy Open House

WHO: Caltrans District Director Pedro Orso-Delgado, California Highway Patrol and local elected representatives.

WHAT: Caltrans will furnish one of its residential rental properties with litter and household items collected from area freeways, i.e. beds, tables, chairs, lamps -- even the kitchen sink. Speakers will highlight the statewide Don’t Trash California anti-litter campaign and encourage motorists to tie down their loads properly.

WHEN: Thursday, May 22 at 10:30 a.m.

WHERE: The event will take place at 511 North 3rd Street in El Cajon
Thomas Guide (1252 A-5).

Directions: Take Interstate 8 to the 2nd Street off-ramp and head south. From 2nd Street make a left on Madison Ave. Travel on Madison Ave. for approximately ¾ miles then left on North 3rd Street. House is on east side of the street. Guide signs will be posted to direct media to the event site.
