Evening Work in the Miramar Area on Interstate 15 this Week
SAN DIEGO –Beginning today through Thursday, during the hours of 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., work crews will close partial lanes on southbound and northbound Interstate 15 (I-15) between Miramar Rd. and SR52, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
The partial closure is necessary to place concrete barriers along I-15 in order to continue the expansion of the I-15 Express Lanes Project.
This work is part of the south segment of the project, which began construction in May of 2008 and will be completed at the end of 2012. Caltrans will make every effort to minimize disruption to the public during this closure. Call (866) 890-1397 for updated road closure information.
