Public Participation Plan - Federal regulations require the State to develop a Public Participation Plan (PPP) for the long-range transportation plan and the State’s list of transportation projects. Your comments are important and can make a difference. We want to hear from participating stakeholders and the general public on how we did, so we can craft a public involvement plan that responds to your needs. We are asking you to review and comment on the draft PPP and complete the survey above by May 1, 2008. ...read more and take our survey

State Route 99 Fairmead Project - In December of 2006, Caltrans in cooperation with FCI Constructors, Inc., broke ground on a $51 million dollar project. The purpose of this project is to improve safety and traffic circulation, while providing congestion relief and enhancing freeway capacity. This project is located just north of Avenue 20 to just south of the State Route 99/152 separation and will convert 3 miles of State Route 99 from a 4 lane expressway to a 6 lane divided freeway.
