Q1) In the Notice to Bidders, the telephone number (916) 654-4990 is for another state agency. Can the correct telephone number be provided to where the Bid Documents may be viewed.

Q2) Demolition note at platform indicates to remove chain link fencing and supports, on sheet A1-2 the platform indicates new Galv railing refer to A1-3 where the west elecation directs you to detail 10/A1-7. This detail shows the new railing on waterproof decking over 19mm plywood sheeting. Is the removal of the existing plywood decking and the installation of new decking part of the scope of work?

Q3) Sheet A1-2, renovated floor plan, indicates "resilient tile over existing floor"; per the site visit the existing flooring is carpet. Please clarify

Q4) On sheets A1-7 and 8 the detials show wall and ceiling insulation in relief as if existing. Is new insulation for ceilings and walls required?

Q5) Note 1, remove and salvage exterior metal siding on all walls and note 3, remove and salvage (e) metal roofing, deal with materials with very high lead based paint levels. On the exterior elevation (same sheet) "metal siding over ..... reuse (e)when autorized by engineer" are we reinstalling lead contaiminated siding and if not where would you like the siding and roofing material delivered?

Q7) We are perfoming lead and asbestos abatement work as well as int/ext remodeling while the bridge tender is working inside the control houses. Do we need to make any special provisions for the comfort of the bridge tenders during this project? Are there any hours of the day when work is prohibited?
