The objective of this study is to develop a business strategy for building and maintaining new safety roadside rest areas that provide a clear benefit to the traveling public using public-private and interagency partnerships.

Accidents Involving Driver Fatigue, 2007

This study will quantify and analyze accidents in which fatigue was cited as a primary or contributing factor within specified route segments and point to potential actions that should be considered to reduce these kinds of accidents.
