2008 Arun Sudhakar Memorial Fund Scholarship
In cooperation with the California Transportation Foundation, a non profit organization, the Arun Sudhakar Memorial Fund will award one $500 scholarship for the academic year 2008/09 to a high school senior who is the son or daughter of a Caltrans employee. High school seniors interested in the disciplines practiced within the Department of Transportation, such as engineering, architecture and urban studies, are encouraged to apply.

2008 Civil Engineering (CE) Scholarships
The California Transportation Foundation (CTF), a nonprofit organization, announces two $1000 Civil Engineering (CE) Scholarships. Applicants must be a college/university undergraduate majoring in Civil Engineering and interested in a career in transportation and affiliated with Caltrans in someway. Current student assistants, volunteers, employees and sons or daughters of Caltrans employees are eligible. The scholarship is competitive and based on the applicant’s commitment to a career in transportation, current job skills, and academic record. Financial need may be considered, but is not a primary factor.
