New 2006 Pro-rata Permit Billings: (12/06/05)
- 2006 Pro-rata Permit Billings will be due 30 days after the effective date of the adoption of the 2006 Permit Fee Regulations. The adoption of the 2006 Permit Fee Regulations is yet to be determined. The Notice of the Proposed Rulemaking was sent to all license holders on November 23, 2005 and comments and suggestions are currently being accepted. 2004-2008 Pro-rata Billing for the Third Installment - 2006: (11/09/05)
- On November 15, 2005, the Department will be mailing out the permit renewal notice for all pro-rata companies.
- This notice is to advise you that Caltrans Outdoor Advertising permits must be renewed pursuant to Section 5360 of the Outdoor Advertising Act. The permit renewal is for a term of five years for permittees with more than 10 permits and for the third installment period for pro-rata permits. The permit amount due for each permit is prorated at $92. This renewal notice is being sent to the permittees last address on record with the Caltrans Outdoor Advertising Program.
- Payments for permit fees must be postmarked by December 31, 2005. If the permit fee is received postmarked after December 31 of the year in which it is due, the permit is expired and it is subject to a mandatory penalty fee of $100 for each permit.
- If you do not receive a renewal notice mentioned above, it is your responsibility to contact the Department to ensure that your last known address is current and that your permit renewal payment is received timely.
