CTP Symposium and Futures Conference

Futures Conference - June 21 & 22, 2001

Caltrans contracted with UCLA Public Policy Extension Program to coordinate a series of conferences entitled California Transportation Futures. The conferences were designed to identify, explore and define trends that may influence future travel decisions and inform transportation planning and policy.

The agenda and summary of the first Symposium on Forces Shaping Mobility Strategies offered an open dialogue with key transportation providers, those who influence transportation decisions and policies, and land-use and environmental advocates.

The second conference was held on June 21 and 22, 2001 in Los Angeles.
